A free browser trivia game. Every day you get one dig of 7 open questions with 25 seconds each. Any correct answer counts, but answers few people would think of score up to 100 points each.
How is rarity scored?
Every question has a curated list of valid answers sorted into four tiers: Common answers score 25 points, Uncommon 55, Rare 80 and Stellar 100. Your first correct guess is what counts — so it pays to think before you type.
Is Rarest Answer free?
Yes. The daily dig and unlimited practice rounds are free, need no account and work in any modern browser.
Does the game save my progress?
Your streak, best score and unlimited stats are stored only in your own browser's local storage. No account is used and nothing is uploaded.
When does the next daily dig arrive?
A new dig is generated at 00:00 UTC every day. The countdown on this page shows exactly how long you have left. Past digs and their full answer lists live in the archive.
Can I play more than once a day?
The daily dig is once per UTC day — that's what keeps everyone's dig identical and the streak meaningful. For endless practice, Unlimited mode serves round after round without ever spoiling the daily questions.
